I'm having a problem with fitting and error bars. When I plot the data without error bars and do a fit, it looks like a good fit. However when I add in the error bars and do the same fit, it no longer gives a fit through most of the points. The fit I'm using is ExpDec2, on Origin 8.0.

Hi,

It would be easier if you sent your opj/data to tech support (see link on top right on how to send file), or if the data is not that many points, paste it here.

Hard to guess what could be wrong without seeing the data.

Thanks,

Easwar
