Hi, I'm using Origin 8.5 and I'm trying to get a textfile with values seperated by spaces to be imported so that all the values are in the same column in different rows. But Origin keeps putting each value into it's own column. How do I have to set the import wizard to change this? thanks!

Transposing did the trick, thank you!

It seems Import Wizard has no such option to transpose.

If all values are in a row in your text file, you can import it into Origin as a row. Then select Worksheet: Transpose to convert it to a column.

If values are in multiple rows in your text file, you can first transpose, then use Labtalk script to merge these columns. Origin8.5.1 which will be released soon provides Stack Columns tool to merge columns.
