How to plot 3D column/bar graphs from data in XYZ columns. The problem is for every X value, I have only one Y and one Z value. Also, they are not equally spaced. To make it more simple, consider: X Y Z 20 40 5 25 22 3 26 44 8
Your help is highly appreciated.

As far as I have tried in both versions of 8.5.1 and 8.6, the "Color Map" option was available. You didn't tell which version you're using, but I suspect because of yours is older than that.

Posted - 05/30/2012 : 8:22:11 PM I have a similar problem. I have a matrix as
10 20 30 40 1 100 120 110 60 2 50 70 150 100 3 100 80 60 80 4 90 75 105 120
I have converted it into matrix, using worksheet/convert to matrix/direct. and from the created matrix, I use plot/3D wires and bars/bars to create a 3D bar graph. However, when I click on the plot details, I have seen only one "bar"tab, and in the "fill color" option, I have only two options "same for all" and "increment". I want to use the option of "color map" and also want to apply the transparency to the bars. Where can I find these choices? Thank you very much for your help, I appreciate it. |
