Is it possible to setup a polar graph with maximum specified radius, and colour various sectors. for example, can i fill the area: 1 < r < 1.5, pi/8 < theta < 2pi/8, with a specified RGB colour. If so, how? I will have a list of sectors and colours to fill them

Hi Jay,

Not sure exactly, I thought this is something similar to what you wanted to present...

If this is the case, the following is the steps I performed:

1) Made a extra pair of XY column (C(X):D(Y)) for the extracted plot for the fill area. (Make sure that there is
an extra row which has the value of lower Y scale to "come back".)
2) Make a polar plot from these four XYXY columns.
3) Turn ON the Use Y-Axis Range radio button in the graph, and change the Y scale from 1 to 1.5 by double-clicking
the Y(=radius) axis.
4) Double-click the plot to show the Plot Details dialog. For the C(X=theta)D(Y=r) plot, choose "Line" tab,
and turn ON the Fill Area Under Curve check box.
5) In Plot Details dialog, choose Pattern dialog, Color=Custom, press Define Custom Colors button,
and enter the RGB values to add a custom color, and accept this new color.

Hope this gives you some idea.
