Origin Ver.8,5 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: windows 7

Hi.

In my "image profiles" diagram, there is no "add arbitrary line" button. Why?

And the second question: what units are used in the image profiles diagrams? I have only numbers.

Hi Eteled,

Sorry, but the arbitrary line feature in the image profile plot has lost when we added other features (such as multiple vertical/horizontal lines). We are planing to bring the arbitrary line feature back to the next version (9.0). If you have the access to older version (vers. 7.0 - 8.1, which can be be installed independently with the current 8.5x version coexisting), you can make and save the profile with an arbitrary line, then open in your 8.5x version.

Regarding the scale of the profile plot, it inherits the coordinates of the matrix. You can check the mapping between the matrix indecies and the coordinates by "Matrix: Set Dimension/Labels" menu.

We're sorry for the inconvenience, and the above information is helpful.
