Posted - 07/02/2011 : 2:30:48 PM Heyho, i need to plot some limit lines of my regession lines to calculate the error of the gradient. I know that Origin shows the gradient and the error of gradient, but i want to plot it also.

Posted - 07/12/2011 : 09:25:05 AM Heya, yes I had found the Confidence and Prediction Bands. But to calculate the error of my regression line is it easier to have a simple line. But I read about the bands in the Originhelp. Thank you! |

Origin can draw the upper and lower "Prediction Bands" with a certain confidence level (default 95%). To set this option, when you perform the linear fitting, in the Linear Fit tool, you can turn ON the "Prediction Bands" check box under the Fitted Curve Plot option branch. To know the meaning of the prediction bands, you can read the following section in the Origin help: UserGuide> Regression and Curve Fitting> Interpreting Regression Results> Confidence and Prediction Bands
Hope this is what you are looking for.
