Like one can use the powerful batch processing tool to import, analyse a lot of data together, is there anything to batch process the graphs ? I want to do the following : I have generated a few graphs with some setting and now find that there is some common change I need to do to all of them, like change the axes range, add top and right axis, delete the comment box etc. Can anyone help me out with that ?

You don't have to "program", so to speak, to make a script code. What minimax wrote is that you can enter the command (actually an x-function) in the Script window (then press ENTER key), then Origin will show the dialog as if via other menu command. It's a general rule of x-function such that -d option (d means "dialog") always shows the dialog to run instead of specifying the arguments in the command line.
Also, if you like, you can make a custom menu to run this one-line script.

You can run script "themeApply2g -d;", which allows you to apply theme to any specific graphs. |

Posted - 07/12/2011 : 1:04:08 PM Hi AB,
I see, and I understand what you meant. I will suggest our developers to improve the Theme Organizer to have "Specified" to apply it to the selected graphs. At this moment, please make a subfolder, and move graphs which you want, to the subfolder; then apply the theme to the folder contents.
Thank you for pointing out the issue.

Posted - 07/12/2011 : 12:31:24 PM Kind of... but I want to have control over which graphs I want to apply the template (like in batch processing, i can select those)...not every graph in a folder.

In Theme Organizer (F7, or choose "Tools: Theme Organizer" menu), in the Graph tab, you can apply a graph theme to ALL graphs in the current folder, or in the project by the "Apply Theme To" option and the "Apply Now" button. Do you think this works for you?

Posted - 07/08/2011 : 02:20:49 AM In other words, I can save my settings on a graph as a theme, and then apply it by using F7 key. How can I batch process this to apply on multiple graphs ?
