Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.5.1
Operating System: win 7
...................
I have this strange problem (don't know it is a problem or Origin's BUG):
Suppose I try fitting to a curve from "peaks and baseline"...I can manually chose by baseline and perform the fitting...works OK...
Problem arises when I want to change the parameters. If I click on the green lock on the graph and try to change the parameters (say I want to change the baseline or instead of Gaussian want to fit Voigt now), the peaks and baseline window will open. I do next..then in the baseline window, the buttons for adding. modifying the baseline anchor points are not working (they are inactive)..the baseline anchor will be as decided by the program...which is so ill-logical (it will chose points on all of the curve !)...and one can't change it. Only way out is delete the fit and start from beginning again!
My question is : does anyone have a solution to this apparent bug from Origin ?

I would term it as BUG !!! And this is very annoying...
Anyways, can I get this fix or I have to buy it with the next version (whenever it comes)...

Hi AB,

Yes, currently this is a limitation. We will look into improving this in the next version.

Thanks,

Easwar
