Hi,

I am using the Origin v 6.0. I am trying to fit a curve wih Hill equation. I get the results table which pop up the Vmax, K and n, but it does not display the fitting red curve in the graph. So I don't know if the graph have been well fitted or wether I should do more iteration.

COuld you please help me ?

Thank you.

Hi Prisca,

I have received similar questions sometimes in past.
Often the cases were that they started fitting from the worksheet data, instead of from a data plot. When the fitting has done from a worksheet, Origin doesn't create a separate graph window with the fitted curve (though actually in Origin 8.x you can find the graph in the the report sheet in the workbook, and you can double-click it to pop up as an independent graph window. Origin 6.0 doesn't have such report sheet mechanism.)

If you started fitting from a plot, and couldn't find the fitted curve, maybe the curve is out of the scale (e.g., because the fitting diverged) - or, maybe your Origin is somehow corrupt... I cannot try Origin6.0 because it's too old and even I don't have it in my computer...

Good luck.

Is this resolved already?
