Dear all Origin users,

I have a problem with the Contour-Plot graphs. In some cases, but I can not define what are the relevant circumstances, the time required to display a contour-plot is extremely long. It is not a matter of number of points, neither of data processing (I draw an XYZ graph) since the data I want to display are always very similar.

If someone has the slightest clue of the 'origin' of this problem, I would appreciate his (her) help...

Aurelien

Hello,
Some questions.
1. Which version of Origin are you using?
2. How many data points are there in your graph?
3. Did you plot from data organized as X, Y and Z columns or as matrix in Matrix window.
4. Could both of you send your opju to us to take a look?

Best,
Snow

I have this same issue, it is an absolute nightmare. Any way to fix this would be brilliant. I can turn on speed mode but when turning it off to obtain the final graph I sometimes wait up to 15 mins.

I recently took a graph and duplicated it as an inset inside another graph. I deleted the original. It was fine when it was not an inset, yet now it is super slow?
