Hello.
I'm new to Origin and looking for an option to import a matrix in .csv format to plot in 3D. My Problem: the first row and the first colum contain the x and y axis legend and shouldnt be ploted as data. So the real data starts in row 2 and colum 2.

I tried many options but none results to my wishes.

Can you help?

Hi,

Do you mean that the first col and row contain the x and y coordinate values (not text)? The latest versions (8.5, 8.51) support Virtual Matrix where data in a worksheet can be plotted directly as 3D plot, and in that process you can specify where the X, Y coordinates are located:

You can try the eval version of 8.5.1 if you don't have this version, or you can send your data to tech support, use the "Send File to Tech Support" link on top right of this page and refer to this post in your e-mail.
