Hi

I have a group a data that need to be fitted with ExpDecay3 equation only. I cannot get a better fit at the initial part of the curve. I attached my file. Can anyone give me some advice about it please? Thank you very much.http://www.originlab.com/ftp/forum_and_kbase/Images/pronyfitt.opj

I used several software to fit your data. And the initial part is not good in all results. I think this may be caused by the fact that the initial part in your data deviates from the expdec3 function.

I examined your data column(A) and column(B). The initial part is too steep. If you plot just the first 20 points, you can notice that the first 5 points are varied at y=8. Then the 6th point rises rapidly. But it seems that the problem isn't caused by it. Even I excluded the first 5 points in fitting, initial part in the fitting result is not good either.
