Hi everyone,
I have a function with two parameters (Y=a*X1+b*Y2+c). The fact is I would like to plot the results Y of this function depending to the two parameters. I want only one curve on the plot.
Is it possible ?

X1 at bottom axis, X2 at the left axis. Y at the right axis - For me it doesn't make sense.... Are you thinking like a Ternary Plot(http://www.originlab.com/www/products/GraphGallery.aspx?GID=229)? If not, maybe you can draw and scan a figure, and paste it here?

I just found a mistake in my first topic, the function i want to plot is more like Y=a*X1+b*X2+c. I always want to plot the Y datas depending to X1 and X2 in one layer with X1 on the bottom axis and X2 in the left axis. Y could be on the right axis.

In your function, {a, b, c} are the parameters, and {X1, Y2} are independent variables (and Y is the dependent variable), right? Then, as Origin's non-linear surface fitter can so that with such parameter-variable arrangement. You get the data of the fitted surface of Y against {X1, Y2} in "FitSurfaceCurve1" sheet in your workbook. By some reason, in my Origin 8.1, I couldn't plot automatically the fitted surface directly on the original 3D graph of {X1, Y2, Y}; but in my Origin 8.5.1, when the original data was plotted as a 3D Scatter plot, the fitted surface, e.g., a plane, was automatically plotted in this original 3D graph. Anyway, you can plot the XYZ data in this worksheet as a surface plot or a contour plot.
I hope I didn't misunderstand what you intended to achieve. (I don't understand when you said "I want only one curve on the plot".)
