Origin Ver. 8.5.1 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Win7x64

Hello.

I have a problem with the recalculation. I have three columns e.g. A, B and C. C is the sum of A and B. If I now normalize column A the recalculation of C is not working regardless of setting recalculation to auto or manual. The recalculate option is grey in the menu.
If I just delete the values of A cloumn C is recalculated.

So where is the problem? Thanks

Hi Sven,

I have confirmed this bug of triggering the auto updating when an x-function is issued when autoupdate was set and the output was set to <input>. I have reported this problem to our developers so that they can look at, and fix it in the next release. You see an error message appears in the Script window, so you can see something went wrong at least.

Meanwhile, please set the recalculation mode to <None> for Normalize. Then, recalculation of Set Column Values should work okay. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by this bug.
