Response to 1-1 aspect of graph axesDaneel,
If I understand your question correctly, you would need to alter two different aspects of the graph window in order to get it to appear 1 to 1; the axes scales and the Measurements group of Layer Properties.
As an example, suppose you have a graph with a set of axes on it and you want the scaling for them to be 0 to 7 where each integer value corresponds to an inch. Here's how you would do it:
First, change the scaling for both set of axes to 0 to 7. Then, double-click on the layer icon corresponding to that set of axes. Once you have done so, click on the Layer Properties button in the dialog box that comes up. Then, in the Measurements group of Layer Properties, change the Units drop-down list to Inches. Finally, change the Left, Top, Width, and Height attributes to 1, 0.25, 7, and 7 respectively. Click OK to close out of the dialog boxes and you should see that your graph appears 1 to 1. Furthermore, if you print out the graph, you should see that each axis is 7 inches long and each integer value corresponds to the actual inch value.
Changing the axis scaling and Measurements attributes is always going to be necessary in order to bring about a 1 to 1 appearance. If you find that you deal with graphs of this nature often, I would suggest saving the graph as a template (File:Save Template As). By doing so, you won't have to go through this process every time you create your graph. All you will have to do is choose your data and select Plot:Template to plot your data.
Let me know if this is what you were asking. If I misunderstood, I would suggest replying. Be sure to be a bit more descriptive if you do.
Sincerely,
Ryan Toomey
