Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.1 SR1
Operating System: WIN 7

Hi, I have a big problem with fitting (nonlinear). I have a table with my x/y values and created a plotted graph. I selected this function a opened the fitting menu.
I created my own, new user function for fitting. I added some parameters and the function.
After applying fitting and some parameters I get always the following output:
Iterations Performed = 0
Total Iterations in Session = 0
Fit did not converge - reason unknown.

Does anybody know, why my iterations are always 0 ???

Thanks for your help.

Hi nora84,

I think there are varieties of possible reasons of the failure of fitting using your user-defined fitting function. It is hard to identify the cause based on what you wrote. I suggest you to contact OriginLab Technical Support, and send your FDF(Function Definition File) file of your function with your source data to them.
