Is there a way in origin for me to draw a straight line on a graph and the system returns the equation of function of the line to me?

I have numerous curves and wish to connect their peaks into a linear line and get the function of the line. Will that be possible?

Hi rl_feng,

You can use the Quick Fit gadget ("Gadget: QuickFit: Linear" menu) to output the fitted function with parameter values replaced. In the tool, choose "Preferences" flyout, choose "Report" tab, set the Equation option to "Equation with Values". Once you set this, new output would include the formula.
