Some dlls need to be installed, preferably using winetricks: winetricks vcrun2008 corefonts ie7 msxml3 gdiplus For Crossover, see here http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=10228.

hofmaale	Posted - 09/25/2012 : 3:20:20 PM It seems that when using Linux amd64, Origin needs to be installed in a 32bit Wine-Prefix using export WINEARCH=win32 in terminal and then creating the Wine-Directory e.g. by invoking the above command in the same terminal session. The Problem seems to be related to IE7 cannot be installed in Wine amd64 till now (at least that's what I experienced), and msxml3 itself is broken too (Origin crashes when accessing msxml code, e.g. after completing the Import Assistant).
