I have been keeping an eye on this forum, in the hope of OriginLab will port Origin to Linux soon. However, it seems hopeless to see the company to do this.

Today, all posts discussing origin on linux (including appeals for port, details running origin on top of WINE, etc) disappeared!

Isn't this obvious that OriginLab has no interest for linux platform at all?

Fortunatelly I've found a very good alternative - Tecplot! It is very powerful and cross-platformed (runs on both *nix and windows). Tecplot v9.2 is much smaller than origin 7.0, only about 10MB. Version 10 is just out, I am anxious to have a try!

So, no longer need to waste time here. Bye.
