Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:2021b

Hello origin community,

I have created a so-called sunburst plot (see figure 1).

In the middle of the 2-D doughnut plot I have shown an upper category (CHO, CHON, CHOS, CHONS)
and a lower category (C1, C2...) on the outside. The individual "sun rays" show the respective
proportions of the two categories. The plot thus consists of 2 x columns for the categories
and 1 y-column with the numerical values (see Figure 2). For graphical processing, I have made both
x-columns independent of each other. (Via Plot details, Groups..)

In addition to the column selected for the plot, I have 42 further y-columns that I want to plot
depending on the two x-columns. I know I can use Origin's batch plotting feature to do this:
1. make a sunburst plot with your first Y column.
2. right click on the title bar of the graph window and select Duplicate (Batch Plotting)..

But in the dialogue box that appears afterwards, I don't know what setting to make. Most of the
time I only get a doughnut plot with one of the two circles/x-values or a totally shifted
representation. Can you tell me what I have to do or does the procedure only work for 1 X column?
Or does not work because both x cvalues are set to be ploted independent??

Best wishes,

Right now, you will need to split your source worksheet and then do batch plotting by sheet. That is,

1. Select menu Worksheet: Split Worksheet to split every 3 columns into a separated sheet.

2. Right click on the title bar of the sunburst graph window and select Batch Plotting. This time select “Batch Plot with” to “Sheet” and “Match Plot Columns by” to the common parameter label row.

However, you will need to adjust the label leader line manually. We have submitted a JIRA (ORG-24752) to improve it in the future. Could you please send me your project so we can test? You can send it via the ticket system
