Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Operating System:
Hey, could anybody help me with the writing of a perpendicular symbol into a figure legend? I'd like to indicate the perpendicular direction of an experimental factor by using the perpendicular symbol rather than by words in a space-limited figure legend.
Many thanks in advance! |

Hi viggozhang,
I don't understand what you called "perpendicular symbol". Maybe you can draw a sample in freehand, scan, and paste here to make it easier to understand.
Thank you!

Hi,
1>Double-click legend to enter into edit mode 2>Place cursor where you want to insert symbol then press CTRL-M, or right-click and select Symbol Map 3> Select Font=Symbol, this should be the default 4> The perpendicular symbol shows in 4th row , 3rd col (maybe it can be different on your system, but symbol font should have this)
Hope this helps.
