Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.1 Operating System:7 I use Symyx Draw 4.0 to make a chemical plot, and then copy and paste the plot into Origin. Exporting this plot from Origin in any format but eps takes place with no problem. However, when exporting that in eps format, the exported file is totally messed up! I do not know why that happens. I can send you my Origin project. There are always some ways to overcome this problem, like exporting in jpg format and converting it to eps, however, due to number of plots I deal with, it becomes very time consuming. I appreciate your opinion. |

Hi shafei,
I have just tried to paste a bitmap image to Origin graph, and exported as an esp file using Origin 8.6 at my hand, and found no problem. I don't know which kind of format of the source image, possibly version difference, or something else. So, at best, please send your Origin file (and maybe your exported eps) to OriginLab so that we can try here. (http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Support&pid=752)
Thank you very much.

Hi Hideo, I just uploaded my file using ftp. I will wait to see if it is my problem or there is something wrong with this kind of format. Thanks. Shoresh |

Hi Shoresh,
Thank you for the file, and I have tried it. It seems there was a bug in Origin 8.1, and already fixed in a later version. See the screenshot below where the left one was created by 8.6, and right one was by 8.1. We are sorry for the inconvenience of this old bug.
