Hello:
I have analyzed and fitted multiple peaks to a histogram (thanks to the Origin help), however, I am unable to add those fitted curves to the histogram. The main problem is that in the 'plot setup' option, I am unable to set the columns as X ! Please help.
I am copying the steps from the 'Origin help' below and have also color coded the specific help instruction in red which I am just unable to execute (I am using Origin Pro version 8):
Activate the Histogram graph and add a layer by selecting Graph: New Layer(Axes): Right-Y from the main menu.
Right-click the Layer2 icon and select Plot Setup from the short menu to open the Plot Setup dialog.
Select the sheet FitPeakCurve1 from the top panel, then set col(A3) as X and col(A4) as Y, and add them into the Layer RightY in the bottom panel.
Do the same things for col(A5) and col(A6).
After that, both fitted peaks have been added into the Layer RightY.
Click OK. Two fitted curves had been added to the Histogram.

Hi milybh,
Could you please try the following? :
1) Open the Plot Setup. Expand all three panels (top/middle/bottom) using double-arrow buttons, if they are not shown.
2) At the bottom panel. choose the layer branch (e.g., Layer1). <==THIS IS CRUCIAL
3) In the top panel, choose the source worksheet.
4) In the middle panel, choose "Plot Type" such as "Line&Symbol" from the list at left. Then, choose the X and Y datasets, and press "Add" button. This operation adds the plot into the layer.
Does it work?
