Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8 SR4
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Here's what I'm trying to do:
I have a spectrum X that is a superposition of three individual spectra A, B, C. I'm trying to find the fractions a,b,c that minimize X-a*A-b*B-c*C. What would be the best way to program this?
The spectra share the same x-Axis and the y-axis values are normalized, i.e. 0 to 1.

Thanks!

Sam Fang

You can select Analysis: Fitting: Multiple Linear Regression from Origin menu. And choose Fix Intercept in the Fit Options branch.
