Dear all,
Does anyone used origin software to fit the induced repair model? I tried to do it but an error ocurred 28037. it seems that it is concerning parameters initialization but I cannot solve the problem.
many thanks in advance. Ana Belchior, Portugal

Hi Ana,

I suppose you defined your own user-defined function, and I wonder whether you have given the initial values to all your parameters before Origin starts fitting. Unless you used the new Fitting Function Builder to define a function, typically the parameters wouldn't have initial values. Then, you can manually enter the "reasonable" initial values before Origin starts iterations.

Or, your function's formula may have some syntactic errors. Then, you may want to recheck the formula. (If it is defined as an OriginC type, you can check the syntax error message in the Code Builder.)
