Hello, with Origin 8.0 SR6: is there a convenient way to merge the function parameters determined from a nonlinear fit into the function so that it can be plotted using "Add fuction graph"?
For example, if I have a fitting function consisting of two (or more) partially overlapping (non-Gaussian) peaks, I would like to additionally plot the single peaks (similar to the "fit multiple Gaussian/Lorentzian peaks"). At the moment, I have to manually copy the function parameters and paste them into the model function...
Sometimes the solution a user looks for seems at odds with the details of what they want ...
When you are doing Multipeak fitting, the Replica branch on the Advanced page includes a check box - 'Plot Individual Peak Curve' - which does what you want.
Also, the Find Y from X option in the Find Specific X/Y branch on the same tab will create a sheet which lets you enter any X values and Origin will calculate the Y based on parameter values and the function.
Of course if you really want to plot Function Graphs then you need the equation with the parameter values substituted. Just take care that you substitute the full value and not the truncated values you see in the Report. You can get full values using the getresults X-Function or by creating a copy of the Parameters table as a new sheet and using Column Properties to display more digits.
