v8.6Sr2. 32 bits trial mode
Operating System: Windows 7 x64

Hello, is there any way to adjust implicit functions with origin? For example the full diode equation I=Io*(exp((V-I*Rs)/(n*Vt))-1).
For fit this ecuation, i use Mathematica V8. I suppose a function F(V,I)=0; in this case F(V,I)=Io*(exp((V-I*Rs)/(n*Vt))-1)-I. Now I create the trio of experimental values (xi, yi, 0) and fit the function of two variables F(V,I) for the parameters Io, Rs and n.
How I can do this in origin?

Please fit implicit function is importat in ingeniering. Please incorporate it into future releases. But broken promises. Do it. Lambert W funtion too.
Thanks.

I`am electronic engineering student.

Hi,

Fitting with implicit functions using orthogonal distance regression will be available in the next version.
