Origin 8.6 in Win 7

I know that in Origin 8.6, I can hold "Z" key and the mouse to zoom in and out.

Can I zoom into a certain area? for example, I select an area with my mouse (like a rectangle area) and zoom into it?

Hi newuser_ca,

If you click "Scale In" tool button (in Tools toolbar) holding CTRL key, and
click-and-drag the area you like to zoom in, a new enlarged graph window pops up.
If you move/resize the rectangle area, you can inspect the updated area interactively.
If you close the Enlarged window, the rectangle would also disappear.

I think you like this gadget-like tool. (If you don't press CTRL key, it simply enlarges
the area in the same graph window.)

Thanks a lot. It is very useful.

But I noticed that the legend disappeared when I "Scale in". Is there a way to keep the legend in the same place of the graph?

Hi newuser_ca,

It seems the new legend in the popped up graph contains only the first dataset.

For now, if your original legend was in the default format, not customized,
then you can recreate the legend by "Graph: New Legend" menu (or press CTRL+L)
in the popped up graph. If your original legend has been customized, you can simply
copy-and-paste into the popped up graph.

I will report this inconvenience to our developers.
