I want to be able to automatically join several projects together and save them as one file. All works fine, but when there are graph name conflicts a requestor pops up telling me that they have been automatically resolved.

This obviously knackers any attempt at running this stuff overnight so all the files are finished by the next morning.

Is there any way to disable the requestor?

Hi,

I looked but there is no way to turn off the rename warning messages. I will submit this as a suggestion to our developers.

Thanks for the question.

Origin 6.1 has addressed this problem - kinda ...

LabTalk is still a little weak in the area of addressing Project Explorer folders. (There have been some minor additions, but a lot needs to be done if script is ever going to handle Project Explorer Folders.)

There are new 'Novice' dialogs in Origin 6.1 and two in particular popup when you try to Append projects:

  1. Do you want a New Folder
  2. Duplicate Names Found

In each dialog there is a don't-bug-me-again checkbox. Check the boxes and respond No to the first and OK to the second. After that, Origin will no longer nag you with these messages.
