Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:
When I use Origin 8.6 32bit to append two projects, I get this error:
incorrect number of arguments passed to function: Loop

I don't have this problem with Origin 8.1.
How can I resolve it?
Thanks

Hi shafei,

Could you please tell me which Service Release(SR) of Origin 8.6 are you using? (You can choose "Help: About Origin" menu, and it should say at near the top, e.g., SR3 b99, etc)

Also, if this happens indeed when trying to append project from menu, for any project? or with a specific project (to add, or to be added)?

Hi
I have the same problem with Origin 8.6 SR2 which is installed on a desktop in my office. The problem exists for any kinds of projects and not only specific ones!
I will let you know about SR of Origin version that I have on my laptop soon!

Hi Shoresh,

Apologies for the late response, we have not been able to reproduce this on any of our machines. We need to do a web meeting with you to see what is unique about your system, that may be causing this issue. Tech support will contact you to set up a meeting.

Thanks for contacting me. Your recommendation worked well. I explain the resolution here, as other people might have the same problem.
I load my database (Origin C) codes at start up. When I changed the setting, such that they are not loaded anymore at start up, I could easily append two projects. So there is something about my codes that prevent Origin from appending projects.
