Origin Ver. 8.6 and Service Release 3 (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Win 7

After using the "Reader" tool, to select a data point an then using the "Zoom Out" tool I see the message "Device context error. May be out of system resource." Does anyone know what causes this error and what it means?

This is an innocuous error caused by changes in button handling to support new keyboard zoom and pan features (check it out : http://www.originlab.com/Index.aspx?go=Support/VideoTutorials&pid=1810). It occurs when you switch tools without pressing Esc key or clicking the Pointer tool first.
You can either ignore it, or remember to use Esc or Pointer tool.
