Good day,

I have 3 columns of data.
first two columns represent X and Y location on a 2D map.
3rd column represents the intensity corresponding to the X/Y location.

May i recreate it for building 2Dmap?

Thank you

Hi Vladok,

Origin is capable to create a contour plot (with level colors, or with level lines) from XYZ worksheet data. After designating the third column as Z, highlight this column, and choose "Plot: Contour: Color Fill (or B/W Lines+Labels)" menu.

Could you help me a little bit more?
I'm still a lamer in origin. I put two pictures - as I see picture in programm and after export. Why is such difference? i need that in programm the Image was displayed as in the exported file, with all the areas and boundaries.

Hi Vladok,

The right figure in your post is under "Speed Mode" as indicated by the RED layer icon (small
red square at the top left corner) for the speedier drawing/manipulation on the monitor.
You can control this mode from "Graph: Speed Mode" menu, or from the "Size/Speed" tab
in the layer level of the Plot Details dialog box.
