I have not seen any reports of the type of problem that you are encountering.It may be possible that you accidentally launched the installation program twice. I would recommend you completely shut down your computer and restart/reboot your computer.
You do not state what operating system you are using. If you are installing to a computer with Windows NT 4.0 please make sure that you have administrative rights for your user name before you try to install the demo again.
If you are installing to a computer with Windows 95/98 I would recommend you restart your computer in SAFE MODE. (Instructions on starting in SAFE MODE are found in Start: Help: Key Word "SAFE MODE"). While in safe mode you should try and install the Origin Demo. This will prevent any conflicts with other programs during the installation routine. There are sometimes problems installing any new software when other programs are running. This is most common when some Anti-Virus protection programs are running.
If this all fails I recommend you contact the Origin representative in Sweden for further assistance.
