I'm having difficulty fitting peaks w/ the PFM. I have Origin 6.1 installed on a Windows 98 machine. I load up the PFM, define the peaks, and press "Fit". At this point, I always receive the same two Error dialog boxes. First, I get a box citing an error occuring in OPFMX60.DLL, followed by a an error in MFC42.DLL. I've installed the version of MFC42 that is recommended under the FAQ "Origin just crashed. How can I prevent it from happening again?" , but am still receiving the same error messages. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I would suspect a print driver conflict, but this could certainly be caused by other things.

To sort this out, please contact OriginLab's Tech Support group at 1-800-969-7720 or e-mail a description of your problem to tech@originlab.com. Please supply or have ready your Origin serial number. In addition, information about your system (Origin is standalone or network?, printer model and driver)would be helpful.

It would also be helpful to know whether this only occurs with certain datasets. If so, you might consider sending us a sample "problematic" dataset so that we are able to reproduce the problem.

Thanks,

Mike Genthner
