Is it possible somehow to accelerate import of binary files into Origin worksheet? I have found that import of a ASCII file takes about 2 sec. For the same file which is in the binary format it takes about 2 minutes.

It should not take longer to import binary data than ASCII. Are you importing one value at a time? Try file.Aread() instead. (See your OriginPro manual for details.)

You are right. I import one value at a time because I use a script based on [Labtech] section in appfile.ogs.
