Hey guys...

somehow i'm not able to get a break for the x-axis when i create an histogram. Everytime i try it, origin crashes. I use OriginPro9.

Do anybody have the same problem or can tell me a solution?

thank you a lot for your help..

Hello,

You are right. There is a crash in 9.0 sr0 when the plotted data doesn't contain X and axis break is set.
http://originlab.jira.com/browse/ORG-7576
It has been fixed recently and will be in our coming 9.0 sr1 patch.

We are going to release 9.0 sr1 soon (mid to late Dec). Sorry for the inconvenience. Could you wait 1 or 2 weeks and run Help: Check for Updates to get sr1 patch?

Thanks, Snow Li

Hi jedbas,

We have fixed this problem in our Service Release 1. You can obtain and apply the SR1 patch by running Help:Check for Updates in your Origin/OriginPro 9 SR0. If you have trouble running Check for Updates, you can also download the patch from the OriginLab website:

http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=SUPPORT/ServiceReleases

If you encounter any problems, or if we can assist you in any way, please do let us know.

Sincerely,
Amanda
