Anyone knows if the "significant digits" control parameters in the NLSF module sets the number of digits in the minimization procedure (or only the numbers of digits displayed)?
I'm trying to set a parameter (normally a real number for Origin) as integer and I haven't found any other possibility than trying to fix its number of digits.
Thanks

P.s.: use the function INT() doesn't produce, of course, any results

The 'significant digits' sets the number of digits displayed and not the number of digits in the minimization process.

You can create a user-defined fitting function in Y script form and then enter something like:

y=a*x+b; //function fitting to
a=nint(a); //keep parameter as integer

If you need help on creating a user-defined fitting function, let me know.
