Hi,
I would like to plot 3 data sets in one graph. The first two data set fit on the same scale, the third one, however, doesn't. So I would like to create one graph with two Y-axes, X-values are the same for all three data sets. I did manage to get a double Y-axis, but the wrong data sets were assigned to the wrong Y-axis. How do I assign a data set to a specific axis to make sure that the right data set is correlated to the right Y-axis?
I hope you understand my problem and that there is a solution!

Hello,
We have built-in template called double-Y.
Here is what you can do:
1. With nothing selected in worksheet window, choose Plot: Multi-Curve: Double-Y menu.
2. Plot Setup dialog opens.
3. There should be 3 panels in the dialog. The top one allows you to choose which worksheet the data is from. The middle panel allows you to choose Plot Type and which column is X, which is Y, etc. The bottom panel (Plot List) allows you to specify which layer to add the data in. You can click the double arrows buttons to show the panels.
4. So with Layer1 selected in bottom panel(Plot List), select X column and Y columns in middle panel. click Add button to add the plots into layer1.
5. Then select Layer2 in bottom panel, and specify which X and Y columns to add into layer2.
6. After graph is plotted, you can also right click layer icon and choose Plot setup dialog to modify data in each layer. Also in 9.0, you can easily change data plot.
