OriginPro8 SR0:
Operating System: Win7-64bit

Greetings,

I am a new user of OriginPro 8 and I want to perform analysis using FFT. I have time domain data and using FFT I transform it into frequency domain data; however when I perform IFFT to the transformed data I do not get the original waveform back. How can I do so? This is very crucial for my analysis, thanks in advance.

P.S: I am unfamiliar with the options inside the FFT transform.

Hi,

View this documentation page that lists the settings necessary for IFFT to reproduce the original signal:
http://www.originlab.com/www/helponline/origin/en/Category/Inverse_Fast_Fourier_Transform_%28IFFT%29.html

The above link may not display correctly, so you may need to copy paste the string into your browser.

Or you can just google the phrase "origin ifft" to find the page.
