Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin Pro 9.0
Operating System: Windows 7

I integrated 2 peaks in a chromatogram.
When I look at the results sheet the area percentage (AreaIntgP(%)) for those 2 peaks does not add up to 100%.
Why is that?
Does it calculate the area percentage based on the whole area even though there are no other peaks selected?

Thanks a lot!!

Hi,

You are right. The whole area includes the no peaks area.

If you set the baseline, integration is from the baseline to the curve.
If you set baseline mode to "None", it will be the same as setting "Y=0" to the baseline.

Also, you can create a user-defined baseline for your curve.

Thanks
Jacqueline
