Why ,in the docs for the DescStats dialog box (
http://www.originlab.com/www/helponline/origin/en/UserGuide/The_DescStats_Dialog_Box.html
) is the SE of Mean formula listed as
s/sqrt(w)
rather than
s/sqrt(n)
?

Hi cdrozdowski111,
I'm not a statistician, but I think in case of when the data has weights. If all weights are 1, then w=n.

Statistician or not, you are correct. In fact w is defined later on the page as the sum of weights which, as you say, would be n for unweighted data. I just needed a nudge in the right direction.
