Hi:

I'm trying to use labtalk to call the XYZ2Mat xfunction to do a conversion of regular or sparse xyz triples. It usually works fine, but it occasionally throws an error saying that Y tolerance is too low (y toler needs to be > 1.65E-6). however, I've never tried to set the y tolerance, nor do I know how to. The help files don't enumerate how to access the input "treenode" to set the gridding parameters.

So, how do I set the x and y tolerances from the command line?

Executing

xyz2mat -h

in the Script or Command Window will dump details of the function including the settings tree.
Here is how to set the tolerance for Y:

xyz2mat iz:=[Book1]Sheet1!(1,2,3)
settings.ExamData.YPrecision:=2E-6
om:=<new>
ovm:=<none>;

Thanks! I didn't realize command line help was so different from the menu-pull-down help. That will help in many more ways...
