Hi there.

I've got a Graph-Template that contains a pre-configured legend (4 Entries, using lines 1, 3, 5 and 7). An originC-Script adds 8 Entries to the graph, the legend should show only odd-numbered entries.

After moving to Origin 9.1, when adding Data to a Graph, Origin now appends the last data that was added to the graph - that was not the case using Origin 9.0.

Has there been any change to the API that could trigger this, or has the templating-system changed in some way?

Alternatively: Is there any way to prohibit updating the Legend? I only found functions to accomplish the opposite.

Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 9.1.0G (32 Bit)
Operating System: Windows 7 Ent.

Hi, hofmaale

Please change the legend update mode in template as None to get what you want. You can do it with steps below

1. Double click on the graph to open the Plot Details dialog
2. Select Graph1 in the left panel, choose Legends/Titles in the right panel
3. Select "None" from the "Legend Update Mode" dropdown list
4. Right click on the Graph title bar and select Save Template from the context menu to save the setting in template

Please see whether it works for you.
