 Interpolation method of Polar Contour figure		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

Origin Ver.9.0, and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:Windows 7 (64bit)
Hi,
I am plotting a figure using Polar Contour (Plot--> Contour --> Polor Contour Theta(x) r(y)). The output figure by Origin is like below,



The black dots are the input raw data. It is apparently that Origin has done some type of interpolation for the original raw data. What I what to know is, what interpolation method does Origin use to interpolate raw data in this type of figure ? Thanks a lot.
The x, y and z data set I have used to plot this figure is as follows:

Here is some description about how we create a 2D contour, we use linear interpolation to find contour lines.
