Origin Ver. 9 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Windows 7

Hi,
I would like to put some weight on my data points for a user-defined nonlinear function through Direct Weight method, but Origin allows me only to choose among Each Range's settings, No Weighting, Instrumental and Statistical.

How can I solve such issue?

Hi, Manuel

Please expand the "Range 1"->"y" branch in "Settings"->"Data Selection" page. There you can select "Direct Weighting" and specify a weighting column.
