Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.6

I have the Project Explorer constantly visible with Auto Hide = Off. However, when Origin displays a message in the message log, the Project Explorer will be hidden and the message is shown. Then I have to press Alt+1 twice to get the Explorer back.

In earlier versions the Project Explorer was always visible no matter what. Is that possible in 8.6 as well?

Hi,
This video is helpful for learning how to customize the Origin workspace:

It will show you how you can dock PE and the Message Log on different sides of the workspace so they do not over lap when either one is open.
