OriginPro 9.1.0G (32-bit) Sr2; Windows 7

Hello,

I have a question for the PDF-Export, but it is not necessarily a problem of Origin.
I am working with Origin and Latex and I want to import 2 or more Origin-Graphs (as PDF) on one Latex-Side. In this case I get program error messages from Latex because of the "PDF groups " (it seems to be a bug in latex).

Similarly there:
http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/76273/multiple-pdfs-with-page-group-included-in-a-single-page-warning

In the upper link is following solution given:
Changing the Origin export options under PDF/Image Settings/PDF Options/Fonts/OutLine Mode into Adobe Type 3.

Unfortunately this does not work for me. Has anyone an idea why?
Is it possible to remove the PDF-Page-Group at the Origin export?

Thank you for your help.
Thomsen

Hi Tom,

I am not sure what you mean when you mentioned "PDF-Page-Group". From I knew, Origin doesn't support exporting multiple graphs in one pdf file directly. Would you please write the brief steps of how to do that to help me understand your problem?

Hi Jessie,

thanks for your answer.
Perhaps I was not clear enough.
If I have a graph with multiple layers I can export the graph without problems into a PDF-file, but this PDF-file consists of different "PDF-Groups".
This is great if you want to continue editing the PDF-file with other programms like Adobe Illustrator. In this case each graph layer is on different PDF-layers and they are merged in differnt "PDF-Groups".
Unfortunately Latex has problems with that.

Normally you can define the PDF export settings to different PDF standards (PDF/A, PDF/X,....) or different PDF compressions.
Is there a possibility to avoid this problem by appropriate export settings in Origin?

Thanks for your help.
Thomsen

Same problem here.
This issue was discussed in more detail in the Tex-forum:

http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/76273/multiple-pdfs-with-page-group-included-in-a-single-page-warning" target="_blank"> br / http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/76273/multiple-pdfs-with-page-group-included-in-a-single-page-warning

Seems to be a bug of the newer pdftex-versions.
Some solutions are given in the forum. The easiest of those solutions: Just ignore the warnig as they do not make any problems
