Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:Windows 7
I am trying to translate the curve vertically.
All that I got it is only a red line and a point at the end.
There is no anchor.
No options step shift.
What is available: cut, copy, delete, bring to front/back, properties.
Before it was possible to move by enter and choose a new location of the curve.
How is it possible to move the curve in this version of Origin?

One more point:
The files save at Origin 8, are not possible to be opened at earliest versions.
The extensions are the same.

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Alina,

1. According to your description, if I do not misunderstand your meaning, you want to set the alignment of the line object to vertical, right?
You can select the object to active it and right-click on it, then choose Properties¡ in the context menu. Then you can set it vertical. And when the object is active, it also can be moved.

So I am not sure what leads the problem by your description.
If you don¡¯t mind, you can send your project file(.opj) to us so that we can look into the problem.

You can send it to this email address: tech@originlab.com
Please remember to include your Origin Serial Number in the email. You can check Serial Number by selecting ¡°Help: About Origin¡± in the menu.

2. Do you save the Origin project file as OPJ (File Extension) file?
Currently, according to Technical Support Policy, our support services are not available for the earlier Versions of Origin and OriginPro.
http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Support/SupportPolicy

It is possible not supported to open the file created in the later version.

But you could send the Origin project file to us, and tell us the early version number, then we can try to test it.

Thanks
Jacqueline
