Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: win 7

Hello,
I am asking slightly different question , pardon me for that. Can anybody guide me when we plot box-whisker plot, what is the scientific reason we plot 10 th/ 90 th percentile or 5 th/95 percentile . Why it is important to plot so? why we dont plot any other number and why physical quantity it means.
I shall be very thankful to you.

Hi gracy,

Sorry, I don't have a definite answer, but I think it's just a convention in statistics similar to the significance levels:
10% marginally significant
 5% significant
 1% highly significant
This article says, such criteria are not "sacrosanct limits". If I may, you may want to give the "mnemonics" like:
10-90 modestly inclusive
 5-95 significantly inclusive
 1-99 highly significantly inclusive
I found an interesting article here.

Hope this suggests something.
