Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin 8.5.1 SR2
Operating System: Windows 7 Prof.

Hello forum!

I have a small data manipulation issue.

I have a bunch of curves, with different dx. I need to automate the subtraction of a few of these curves with script.
Normally, when doing it by hand, this is very easy by doing it the graphic way (Analyis -> mathematics -> simple curve math -> substract <reference>), but via labtalk it seems to be a bit more difficult (e.a. the colums need to have the same x-increments before subtraction or some other way of normalisation)

Can you give me a hand in solving this problem?
Thanks in advance!

With kind regards,

Reinier.

Hi,

With Script Window open, when you are at mathtool dialog (Analyis -> mathematics -> simple curve math), you can click the right triangle button at the upper-right corner and select Generate Script.
This will give you the LT command of exactly what you have set in that dialog. And you can look at relative documents to learn more about it, for example:
